Two people are coming out of a building. A very badly burned building. The US Embassy in Kenya has just been bombed. Accidental? Arson? We don't know. Smoke fills the air and charred remains of a country's diplomatic headquarters can be found strewn about. Black soot masks the ground, as nearby edifices stand witness to the explosion. Who are the perpetrators, if any? Who are the victims? Black post-colonial bodies are dead and dying. Black post-colonial bodies hustle in a panic to find victims who are crushed, but whose hearts are still beating. The rubble heaves, as bodies breathe. Bin Laden claims responsibility! Anti-American sentiments are illustrated violently on these post-colonial bodies, the very bodies that lived through British invasion, imperialism and occupation. Post-colonial squared?
